Thanks to the judges for their votes this time. I'm really delighted to win, especially in such a strong field. And thanks as ever to Larry for the fantastic resource that is PFRE.
I think this group of films is an excellent snapshot of pretty much all the various techniques that go into RE films at the moment. Highlights for me are Dave Dwyer's amazing gimbal work - best I've seen - and the way Joshua Vernon-Rogers filmed his model - so stylishly done.
For those interested in tech specs, the film was shot on the Sony FS7, with Canon L series 16-35, 24-70 and 70-200 mm lenses. I used a Sigma Art 50 mm for the interviews, and a second camera angle with a Sony A7s. Grip gear is my trusty 10 year old Wally Dolly and DJI Ronin. All editing including color correction done on Premiere Pro.

great videos - lots of interesting ideas. What are the rules for shooting video of people in public places for real estate and/or developer use - as a former newspaper
photographer our rules varied on whether editorial shots were important breaking news, sporting or feature images - feature images being just 'pretty' photos e.g. people sunning
themselves on a warm day, trudging through the snow in a storm, etc. We usually needed names if there were less than 6 people in
the shot in a public place. For any advertising or commercial work there needed to be model releases.
What is everyone using for the walkabout videos - i'm looking for a female-friendly solution that's not too heavy. Thanks for any input.

Shane re your question re shooting people in public places for RE use, it's a bit of a grey area - at least in the UK. Strictly speaking you are meant to seek local authority permission for filming in many places (eg Central London) but most of us just do it on the fly. Possibly worth a separate thread on this Larry - I'm sure we all have differing experiences of this?
Re kit for walkabout videos, I use a Ronin plus Sony Fs7, which is not light but very stable. More popular I think is the lighter Ronin M, together with a DSLR such a Sony A7s. I think there have been separate threads like this here in the last 12 months or so re the best / lightest gimbal systems.
