Congratulations Stefan Randholm! January 2021 PFRE Videographer of the Month

Published: 31/01/2021

Congratulations to Stefan Randholm from Marbella, Spain, who has been voted the January 2021 PFRE Videographer of the Month! Here is Stefan's great video.

  1. Stefan Randholm #327
  2. Jeff Huang #312
  3. Josie Henderson #316

You can check out all of the January entries here.

Here is what Stefan had to say about his video:

I've been photographing properties for a long time, but only started doing videography a few years ago when I got my drone pilot license. I really only meant to use the drone for aerial photography, but then one of my clients asked me if I couldn't also do some video with "that thing". This is a recent production for that same client. This particular property commands great views of the Mediterraenean sea, so we wanted to make sure we got some cloud free views. It took three visits to the location before it dawned on me that to make sure there wouldn't be any clouds on the horizon, I shouldn't be checking the forecasts for the actual location, but rather for the coast of North Africa! The footage is shot with a Mavic 2 Pro and a Nikon D850 on a Moza Air gimbal, and edited in FCPX. I've submitted videos to the PRFE contest before, but I never expected to stand even a remote chance to win. Still at the lower rungs of the video learning curve, this constitutes a great confidence boost for me, for which I am very grateful.
