Here is what Austin had to say about his image:

I feel absolutely honored to be chosen as this month's winner. This home was amazing and I was very fortunate to get the opportunity to photograph it. It was a 5 story condo in downtown Phoenix and was full of both industrial and traditional elements. One interesting thing about this image is that the light coming in from the right is actually a reflection from a nearby building and is coming in from the exact opposite direction as the sun. Although I typically always light my images in some way this one was actually all ambient. It was 3 images total that I blended together using luminosity masking. I used an A7iii and a Canon 24mm Tilt-shift.

Congratulations Austin! In December, voting takes place to determine the PFRE Photographer of the Year 2021.
