I feel there is far too much foreground greenery in the composition. Yes, I understand you wanted to show the kayaks/boats in there which suggests there is water nearby. But to show all that foreground greenery and not even give us a glimpse of the water, seems sacrificial to the overall composition. I feel like the water is JUST below the bottom edge of the shot! Without fully understanding the challenges present for this shot, I don't think dedicating a good 70% of this image to shaded greenery works the best here.
