  1. So... basically, you live in a castle is what you're telling me? I like the way the home is framed by the branches up top and the shade from the tree to the right on the bottom. I don't mind the royal hound looking back fondly at his stately manor. The colors and contrast look pleasing to me. Good camera height. I like the idea of the door propped open, but it gets a little dark in there and takes away a bit of the "inviting" vibe that I think was intended. Could do without the tension of the tip of the chimney being clipped. Nice shot!

  2. Very nicely done. The one thing keeping me from loving this shot is the crop. It's a giant house...I think it could use more room to breathe. Would like to see a bit more included along the left, right, and top (seemingly small thing, but I think the intersection of the chimney with the top of the frame is having a strong negative impact on the shot). I do love the dog. It's nice that he's in shadow, looking back at the house (waiting for the fox hunt to begin? : )
