Oh my gosh, thanks so much! I have been trying for so long, this really feels good. Especially a week before the conference.
With regard to the image....
This was shot for a commercial client, so I had a lot more freedom and time to work on things. I got there well before sunset and walked the site, and planned the shots I could get any time, and those I would need to rush to get in that magic 10 minutes of peak sunset.
This I had pre-vized well before I shot it. Used a 9' tripod and Nikon Remote software to shoot it from the very end of the pier. I wanted more res than a drone could do, and this was shot with a Nikon Z7ii. Braketed, 5 exposures, 1 stop apart.
