Thank you so much — this really means a lot.
Lately, I’ve been working hard to create images that feel real and natural. I guess I’m chasing a “better-than-natural” light look — borrowing techniques from some of my heroes: Wayne, Tony, Dan, Garey… and others. I’m definitely not in their league, but I try to emulate what I admire in their work. Maybe someday I’ll get there.That was my goal with this image — to create something that feels like natural light, just better. It was lit with two AD200s using MagMod Spheres. I bracketed the exposures, but in the final blend I probably only used two or three frames. The camera was a Nikon Z 7II with the 24mm tilt/shift.
