  1. Nice job. Great-looking colors and white balance. And I think the window exposure is just right. For my taste, the image is a touch bright overall. So I’d probably play with the highlights a bit, and possibly the exposure. Maybe a slight vignette to pull the corners in a touch? The horizontal lines feel a bit off…I think a slight counter-clockwise rotation could help with that (might then need a vertical correction as well). The green bench could be slid to the left ~an inch. And perhaps use a light stand to nudge the fan blades into a more balanced/appealing position.

  2. agree with julie... I feel like the main focal point at this angle is the bed... and it is very flat in lighting ... some. gradient light fall off from left to right falling off to right would really help shape and provide depth

  3. Super flat lighting. The ambient light is your friend. Embrace it. Also, I think the flash was set too high. Inch the power of your flash back a bit. Don't be afraid of dark areas. Contrast creates interest. The right side of the room should be noticeably darker than the left side (near the window), and it's not. Good direction on the composition. Keep it up, but I'd suggest experimenting with some more ambient in your blends.
