PFRE Community Announcement

I hope this message finds everyone well! 2020 was a crazy year, to say the least. Although there were many challenges, we also saw incredible growth in the real estate photography industry as so many other genres weren't able to operate at full capacity. That being said, I have some exciting news to share for the future of PFRE. I have brought on a digital marketing agency to help manage and grow the website. Let me explain a bit about what has gone into this decision.

Ever since taking over PFRE from Larry, I've been fortunate to have built great relationships with exceptional real estate photographers from around the world. We've made a lot of changes to modernize the website and bring the experience up to par. We've created a new Community discussion forum, and given the website a complete facelift.

We've also launched the PFRE conference, which has garnered much support from the real estate photography community in its first two years, and plans are already well underway for PFRE Conference 2021!

However, running both the conference and website, along with my own real estate photography business (and raising a young family) has been overwhelming. On a business level, I haven't been able to invest the necessary time into each of these that they deserve. And, on a personal level, the workload has become unsustainable.

In order to grow both the conference AND the PFRE website, I have brought on the digital marketing team 201 Creative, led by Jared Bauman. Jared has a long successful background in photography and is a master when it comes to SEO and online marketing. His team are experts in online growth, SEO, and brand visibility.

I will continue to remain active in the PFRE community while focusing most of my time on developing the conference. 201 Creative will assume the day to day responsibilities and will be in charge of growing the website to reach new real estate photographers around the world and continue to steward this amazing community.

This is an exciting change. For you, this will mean an increased focus on all aspects of the website. It will mean new content on a more regular basis. It will mean a faster website with improved user experience and an easier submission process for the monthly contests. These are just a few of the things that the team at 201 have planned.

Please help me welcome the 201 Creative team and show them how wonderful this community is. Together, we'll continue to grow and evolve PFRE to meet the needs of today's real estate photography industry.

As always, thank you for your support, and I wish you much success in 2021 and beyond.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out.
