This weekend I've been thinking about the fact that every time there's a new version of Lightroom I buy the updated version of Scott Kelby's Lightroom for digital photographers book. As of right now you can purchase the Kindle version (which I did) but the hardcopy won't be shipping until next Thursday, August 1 (you can preorder now). Scott's Lightroom book is one of the few books that I always buy both the hard copy and the Kindle version.
I purchase the hard copy because it's such a great reference book for the application I use the most. Well, maybe I use my browser more than Lightroom, but not much. Scott does a great job with his books. They are the number one selling technical books on the planet, and you can see why.
For the last several editions of this book I always buy the Kindle edition too just because e-books are evolving and as an e-book publisher I like to see what the top dog is doing in layout and how the Kindle version works on various sized tablets, laptops and my desktops. I'm still not ready to give up my hardcopy of this book and live with only a Kindle version! That will probably never happen.
Oh and by the way, I think I'm going to do a regular PFRE Book Of The Month where I feature one of my favorite books that is some how related to real estate photography. If anyone has a favorite book they'd like to promote as PFRE Book Of The Month feel free to let me know about it. Just use the Contact Larry link on the right side-bar and let me know about it and I'll be happy to consider it.
