Marc Weisberg’s Mastering Luxury Real Estate Photography Workshops

Published: 27/03/2018
By: larry

Marc Weisberg, a luxury real estate photographer and Sony Artisan, has added more  workshops to his schedule. Workshops will be in:

  • Palm Springs, CA
  • Irvine, CA
  • Portland, OR
  • Scottsdale, AZ
  • Paris, FR
  • New York, NY

For full  dates, details and to sign up, click here.

This three-day intensive workshop is for photographers looking to fast-track themselves to creating powerful and compelling real estate and architectural imagery. Marc will cover everything you’ll need to know over three intense days of learning to create images like you see on his website. He’ll go over which gear: cameras, lenses, primes, zooms, and tilt/shift lenses, grip gear, lighting, light shaping tools, software, and post-production techniques he uses and why and how to use them. It doesn’t matter which camera system you are using as long as you have a DSLR or mirrorless camera that you know your way around; Canon, Nikon, Fuji, Olympus, and Sony are all fine. We’ll also be covering business strategies from client acquisition to client delivery; contracts, and licensing of imagery. Here is a recent film that Sony produced on Marc's use of the 70-200 f/2.8 GM in New York City.

Also, notice that Marc is a PFRE coach. If you'd like to do one-on-one coaching with him, contact Marc via the PFRE coaching page.

  1. Interested in this but wanted to see what differences this course would have vs the Scott Hargis online course besides the obvious that is is an on-site workshop. Is this more geared towards novice photographers? I am looking to up my game and already have the Scott Hargis course, just have not implemented the techniques yet. Thanks for the replies in advance.

  2. Hi Kyle, Its quite a bit different from Scott's course. We dive in deep, talk about and demo Tilt-Shift lenses, which lenses suit composition and style of photography. I have both a luxury real estate and commercial residential and commercial real estate photography background. We go deep into lighting, modifiers, how to light, why we light it, and deep dive into post-production. We also go into the business side of things as well. In all, there are 24 hrs. of hands-on instruction over 3 intense fun days of learning. On the final day, we'll spend the first two hours of class on a critique of a 4 part photography homework assignment that you'll need to complete on our second {on location luxe home shoot day}. This is set up to both challenge you and to make sure you leave knowing how to do what you've learned over the first two days. It's vital to me as an instructor to know that's you'll walk away, "not having to re-invent the wheel." In any given class I have beginner, intermediate and advanced photographers. And the beauty is everyone learns and everyone also helps each other too. Please feel free to reach out to me directly anytime you'd like to chat if you have further questions. I guarantee the workshop will fast track you to creating remarkable real estate imagery. Best, Mw-
