How I Use @PFREblog Twitter Stream On The Right Side-bar

Published: 18/01/2016
By: larry

TweetStreamReaders frequently send me links to interesting articles around the net related to real estate photography that would be nice to quickly and easily share with the PFRE community. Much of the time these links don't warrant a complete blog post but some time ago I realized that a great way to share these links was to Tweet the link in the form of the title of the article followed by a link. But for PFRE blog readers to be able to see these links, I needed a widget that would display the @PFREblog Twitter stream on the blog. After struggling to find a good WordPress Twitter Stream widget to display the @PFREblog Twitter stream on the blog I recently I discovered the one that I'm now using on the right sidebar. It has the minor problem that it wants to display wider than the sidebar. But that doesn't seem to be a show stopper problem on the devices I've checked it. At first, it looks a little strange on iPads but you can easily adjust the screen to fill the screen or not.

The point I wanted to pass on is to check out the links on the right sidebar for interesting real estate photography related articles, videos and comments real estate photographers have made on social media. I tweet immediately after putting up posts here on the blog, retweet some tweets by real estate photographers I follow and pass along interesting links that readers e-mail me. This makes it possible to pass along much more real estate photography related information than was previously possible. And to see at the links, you need not be a Twitter, FaceBook or Instagram user.

  1. Thanks for the RT Larry! Your awesome website resource is often referred by me and others. I offer my clients a post on my Facebook Page, Twitter and Linkedin when they purchase my Virtual Tour/YouTube Video package. It's a value added benefit for those who either don't have the time or interest in social media.
