Congratulations to Jared Saulnier – January 2019 PFRE Videographer of the Month

February 2nd, 2019

Congratulations to Jared Saulnier from Portsmouth, NH who has won the January 2019 PFRE Videographer of the Month Contest! Here is Jared’s winning video.

Here’s what Jared had to say about his winning video:

Thank you for choosing my video for the January VOTM! This project was for what became the second highest sale in the state of NH at $10.8 million and closing in January 2019. I mostly work in the Seacoast of the NH area but get to the Lake Winnipesaukee area when I can to shoot some incredible homes. The home, from what I’ve heard, was originally built by one of Microsoft’s founders and they say he spent almost $20 million to build it.

For the tech used in this shoot:  Canon 5D MKIV, Canon 16-35, Canon 100mm Macro, DJI Ronin S Gimbal, and DJI Phantom 4 Pro+. Shot in 1080p 60p and then slowed down a lot of the footage to 24p to smooth it out and give it a more cinematic look. Edited with Adobe Premiere and After Effects.

I enjoy being a part of the PFRE community. I don’t enter the contests that much or comment but I would like to start finally getting into the community more this year. I learned a lot in the 8 years of shooting real estate with PFRE as an amazing resource.

  • Well done Jared. You created a video that displays the home and surrounding very well. Colors are rich and very true and the camera work is smooth and complimentary. That’s a large home and even bigger project on what to shoot and keep and what to leave on the cutting room floor. Yes, it’s a bit long but I’m guessing serious buyers appreciated that. Congrats.

  • Just immaculate! Perfection in all aspects. I will be re-watching this many times for inspiration on how to improve my own fledgling efforts. It’s not the equipment, it’s how you use it and then how you correograph the raw footage in the editing booth.

  • Beautifully done…congratulations! As someone who is considering entering the video realm, I’m curious to the time you put in to shoot and edit?

  • Nice one Jared. Excellent, classy work!
