Announcement – New PFRE Tutorial Series with Garey Gomez

January 13th, 2019

In an article I posted back on June 3, 2018, one of the initiatives I mentioned as a priority for PFRE moving forward was an effort to collaborate with the best and brightest minds in the industry to bring our community quality content and educational opportunities.

Fast forward seven months and I’m excited to announce our first major collaboration with Atlanta-based photographer, Garey Gomez. Garey is the definition of professional, and he has a body of work that any real estate/interiors photographer would be proud of. Garey was an obvious choice for us to team up with to bring you the Mastering Real Estate Photography tutorial series.

A note from Garey:

PFRE is an authority in the real estate photography world, so it made perfect sense to collaborate with Brandon to make sure we covered all of the most asked-about topics and deliver maximum value to the community.

  • This should be great. Already pre-ordered. I have long wanted to simplify and speed up my workflow without hurting my image quality much. Let’s hope that this is exactly what I will be getting. 🙂

  • I also just pre-ordered. Looking to speed up my workflow.

  • I enthusiastically support PRFE’s efforts to bring quality education to those working in our industry. Keep it coming!

  • Thank you for the support! I’m so excited to share what I’ve learned with the community. If efficiency is what you’re after, I really think you’ll be pleased. Don’t hesitate to reach out any time. Thanks!

  • This looks like it’s going to be awesome! I would have killed for a tutorial like this 4 years ago when I was struggling to transition from HDR to off-camera flash. First and foremost, I can personally say that Garey is a top-notch human being and his work obviously speaks for itself (www.GareyGomez.com). If you want to get more efficient with your workflow and are looking to pick up some valuable lessons you can start using immediately to up your game, you’d be crazy not to invest the cost of just one photoshoot (or less!) for this tutorial. The biggest jumps I’ve made in my progress thus far have come from coaching, workshops and tutorials. This is great for the entire community, because a resource like this helps everyone get better at their craft, which in turn raises the bar on our whole industry. Psyched to see PFRE bringing high-quality education like this to the community. Skip that shiny new piece of gear you have in your cart and get this tutorial first. You’ll start booking more shoots with better clients in no time and can upgrade to an even SHINIER piece of gear before you know it! Consider it a Valentine’s Day gift to yourself. <3

  • I’m pretty sure this is exactly what I need. I have resisted using off-camera flash for awhile and I think that with tutorials like this, there is no more reason to. Better color temps, quicker workflow, etc. I also love the fact that all the business documents being included – I am not great at figuring out costs, and I am hoping this is going to simplify things for me. Realtor interviews sound helpful as well. Looking forward to getting this!

  • Great to see this develop PRFE team, Brandon hinted at some things to come during he and Tony’s workshop in ATL last year. I had some great interactions with Garey during that session, as well as others. Looking forward to his insights and deeper dimensions to improve various facets of the business and build more expertise!

  • Mike, Bill, Dennis, thank you all for commenting! Great to hear from you guys.
