How Do You Decide What to Charge a Designer or Architect for Portfolio Photos?

I have a question about pricing for you. I have all my prices set. However, I’m not sure what to charge a designer or an architect for the portfolio photos. Obviously, I cannot do a yearly license as they are going to use the photos on their portfolio for much longer. How does it normally work? Please advise.

There are many factors to consider when pricing your photo usage. These factors are very different from pricing your real estate photography. The important factors are:

  1. Your work quality. Where are you on the spectrum of your competition?
  2. In what media is the client going to use your images(s)?
  3. How long are they allowed to use the image(s)?
