Announcing Cooper-Colangelo Photography Workshop in Atlanta, GA; April 13-14

January 28th, 2018

I’m pleased to announce that a real estate photography workshop will be returning to the Southeast U.S. for the first time in four years. Long-time PFRE contributors Brandon Cooper and Tony Colangelo will be delivering their workshop in Atlanta, GA on April 13 & 14.

This interactive and highly engaging workshop will benefit:

  • Relatively new real estate photographers wanting to demystify the learning curve
  • HDR shooters who want to make the move to off-camera flash once and for all
  • High-volume photographers wanting to create better images while maintaining efficiency and profit margins
  • Experienced shooters wanting to augment their brand with images that will entice high-profile clientele

The workshop meets these goals by applying principles gleaned from the field of psychology. Tony, who is a former psychologist, says:

It’s been proven time and again that certain factors are almost always at play when someone loves an image –  even if that person doesn’t know why they love it so much! Brandon and I believe that if photographers can apply these factors when they compose, light, and edit an image, they’re more likely to consistently create photos that impact their clients, regardless of whether they’re a real estate agent, interior designer, builder, or architect. Our workshop gives participants a truly step-by-step approach that they’ll be able to pick-up quickly and apply confidently.

The workshop also highlights the psychology behind creating a successful brand. Given that a client’s first encounter with a photographer’s brand usually happens online, the workshop will review a number of best practices in website development. This includes the optimal number of images to have in a website gallery and the single, most important guideline to use when determining the order of your gallery images.

  • Hi Everyone,

I attended Tony and Brandon’s workshop in Ottawa last September flying from Australia, and just loved it. They truly complement each other in the different areas they cover and I found the info so valuable in saving time on the job, post processing and producing better, cleaner images.
There was a lot more to it than that (no spoilers) so I can’t recommend the workshop highly enough. Would love to attend in Georgia and enjoy it all over again; but that may be a little hard to explain to my family (who travelled with me last time) as to why I’d be travelling to the States and enjoying myself without them… ha!

  • @Tracy – What a lovely note, Tracy – thank you! Brandon and I were so pleased that you could join us in Ottawa and we’re delighted that it was valuable for you!
