Starting Out In Real Estate Photography and Need Some Coaching?

August 13th, 2014

coachingIn the last 24 hours I’ve gotten 9 experienced real estate photographers that are willing to take on coaching people and built a real estate photography and videography coaching page.

For people starting out in real estate photography and interested in this resource I want to reiterate the general way this works:

  1. Under most situations this coaching is not face-to-face personal classes, although that may happen in some cases. It’s totally up to the arrangements you make with the coach you choose. On the other hand, I’m sure that most of these coaches will fly to your location and give you personal one-on-one training if you cover their expenses and time. I know of cases where that has happened.
  2. Usually the coaching will be done via phone, Skype, FaceTime, Google Hangout, GoToMeeting or some online technology. These technologies allow extremely effective coaching.
  3. Don’t expect to get this coaching free. These coaches are busy, successful real estate photographers whose time is valuable. The coaching you will get is very valuable. Fees are totally up to each coach.

The important point with this coaching is that you can be coached by some of the best photographers and videographers in the world even though you don’t even live in the same country. Many Universities provide classes worldwide to thousands of people at a time. This is no different.

I like to thank all the coaches that have signed up to do this. I think this is a very valuable resource.

  • I know this is geared to newbies, but there might be some interest in seasoned photogs that want to learn “new” tricks with PP or whatever. There is always more than one way to get a job done and maybe it could improve our workflow to look at how we do things from a different perspective.

    Just saying…

  • @Jerry – Absolutely! We can all learn a lot from these people! Raise the bar on the work you do!

  • So how do we contact a coach?

  • I’ve added a Coaching page to my website to ease the contact flow…

  • I have been looking for a mentor for quite some time. This is a great alternative. My name is Timothy Bambrough and if any of these coaches lives in the greater New York City area might be a great connection as this is where I live as well. I can be reached at I am really looking forward to hearing from someone.

  • @Ted – You contact them via their website. Each coach has a website URL. Click on it, go to their contact information and contact them via email or phone via the info in their contact information. Michael has a email form right on the page that the coaching page takes you to.

  • Is there a way we can specify for teaching in other parts of the world..?

  • @Gerard – You and many others are missing the point of this coaching resource. These coaches can coach anyone on planet earth that has internet access! This is NOT intended to be face-to-face coaching! Communication tools like Skype, google hangouts, GoToMeeting work anywhere in the world.

The point here is that people can be coached by some of the best real estate photographers in the world even though you are not even in the same country.
