Some Agents Are More Capable Of Narration Than Others

October 31st, 2010

Some agents are more capable of narrating their property videos than others. An then there is Stuart Darcy of Ray White, in Mermaid Beach, Queensland, Australia. Stuart doesn’t just narrate his property video, he gives an award winning vocal performance.

Stuart recorded the sound track for this property video of his listing at 3 Gallieo Place, Mermaid Waters QLD, AU. The video was shot by Propvid Australia, which is Brett Clements company. Whoa, what a performance! These Australian agents will do anything to sell a property! Thanks Brett for the link to Stuart’s latest performance.

After you watch Stuart’s video be sure to scroll down and have a look at the completeness of tours. They are more than just stunning videos, they are complete property tours that include text descriptions, still slideshows, links to other listings that Stuart has on the market, links to sold properties and along the bottom, below the slide show, there is a series of lifestyle videos for the Mermaid Waters area. Very complete and engaging tour. And notice it doesn’t use Flash. It can be viewed on any platform.

  • Love it! Way to think outside the box!

  • Hysterical! I’m not sure how clients would actually respond to it, but I thought it was really funny!

On a serious note, make sure the pool is clean and that the pool sweep is removed for christ’s sake

  • I don’t like it. It my work for some clients. I just think it is absurdly gimmicky. I closed it about 10 seconds in because I could not stand to watch anymore. Your trying to sell a house not make a viral video sensation. I commend you for thinking outside of the box but this reminds me of a Vern Fonk Commerical.

  • Might work for Australia but from what I understand they have a completely different RE marketing and selling history. I’m not really sure anyone would want to try and sell a home here in the US with this concept. The video probably alienates a lot of buyers.

  • I think it was awesome, and a great marketing concept! Kudos for having the guts to do something out of the ordinary that is attention-grabbing!

  • It’s definitely over the top and hilarious… not sure what effect it would have on today’s supressed market. Perhaps we all need a good laugh.

  • Creative excellence at its best! Good bad or indifferent this gets some excitement into a business that can be far too staid! No matter what the nay sayer types say, it’s definitely going to get a lot of hits and that in itself is good for the sellers! Property promotion is about exposure and presentation and regardless of whether you like it or not this little video has oodles of both….
