Fantastic Response To Essential Guide to: Lighting Interiors by Scott Hargis

October 17th, 2010

Levi and I Just got back from a eBook launch celebration in Seattle. A bunch of prominent Seattle real estate photographers (Matt Edington, Dan Achatz, Paul Gjording, Mark Reibman, John Galfano and Malia Campbell) joined Scott Hargis and I at Poppy in Seattle on Saturday night to celebrate the launch of Scott’s eBook. We enjoyed some bubbly, brew and great food and talked real estate photography into the night. Great fun!

We are getting a huge positive response to Scott’s new eBook. Everyone doing real estate photography is interested in improving their lighting technique and this eBook is designed to do exactly that. Improve your interior lighting technique with small flash.

There are a handful of people that have experienced download difficulties. There are three common problems and their solutions:

  1. If you experience download problems try a different browser. Several people with older versions of IE have had download issues. When they try the download with FireFox or Chrome the download works fine.
  2. A couple of people’s e-mail with their download link when into their SPAM folder so if you purchase the ebook and don’t get a download e-mail with in a minute or so check your SPAM folder.
  3. If you download this eBook on your iPad you won’t be able to get the eBook into your iBooks app. I suggest that you DO NOT do the download on an iPad. Rather download it on your laptop or desktop machine and sync the eBook to your iPad and it will go into the iBook app.

The eBook is a 30 Mb PDF because the PDF is created for print quality. This way if you print the ebook you get a high quality hard copy.

  • Dang, I would’ve been there if was later this week. 🙂

  • This is an excellent, well put together book. There is a wealth of information for photographers at all levels of experience which can only help enhance their skills.

  • Paul seems displeased by the taking of the photo – too bad you didn’t bring along a member of photography for bar photography forum, um photographer for the shot – that, or the camera had been drinking too!

  • Drinking? At a book release party? I assure you, sir, there was nothing but high-minded literary discourse taking place.

…..wait — Oh. well…..I guess there was *some* drinking involved…

  • Amazing !! Just follow the advice and get great results — A must buy for anyone starting out in this field.
