Scott Hargis Announces November Lighting Workshops

September 12th, 2010

Today Scott Hargis announced interior lighting workshops for November 16 and 17, 2010 in Melbourne, AU. As usual you can find more details at either today’s announcement post on Scott’s blog or his workshop site. For you AU people I would signup quickly, these workshops will sell out fast.

I know, for you US, CA, EU and UK shooters Melbourne is a long flight. But hang in there, I will bet Scott will be doing a workshop closer to you in the not to distant future.

For those of you that don’t know of Scott and his workshops, Scott has applied the small flash lighting approach, made popular by David Hobby at in the last several years, to real estate and interior photography. Scott and I did this PFRE blog post back in July of 2007 that distills the approach that Scott teaches down into a concise statement.

I attended one of Scott’s early workshops in April of 2008 in Seattle. and I can say without a doubt that Scott’s workshops will revolutionize the way you use small flashes for real estate photography. You’ll find that the approach that Scott teaches will help you no matter what your lighting approach is. Using small flashes is an important part of shooting real estate.
