PFRE Blog is #29 In Top 50 Photography Blogs

May 12th, 2009

A little shameless horn tooting is in order here! Invesp consulting implemented a new blog rank tracking system last week that uses Google and Alexis ranking, Yahoo’s count of incoming links, social site ranking and some secret sauce to come up with a blog ranking is various subject areas, and guess who comes out ranked #29 in the top 50 Photography Blogs?

Aaron Leitz sent me a e-mail this morning pointing out that I’m, “beating Joe McNally and Chase Jarvis”! I don’t pretend to understand the formula or data that is using to give the PFRE blog this ranking but I’m prepared to just go with their good judgement. They claim to have analyzed 30,000 blogs to come up with this ranking. The only thing that has me a bit worried is that Scott Kelby’s blog, Photoshop Insider is not on the list. Perhaps it’s listed in some other category.

  • Larry,
Big thanks to you for setting this place up. Another thanks out to the folks who show up and participate. It’s the combination of the two that make this site so well liked.

  • Congratulations!
I try to teach Realtors how to blog and always mention your Blog!
The invesp people, however, seem not to rank any Realtor Blogs? Wonder why or maybe they are hidden in other categories?

  • Congrats Larry!

I lurk around without commenting very much but I check out your blog almost everyday for inspiration and pointers. You’ve got a great site with a ton of great members!

  • So what was #1 photog blog?
Maybe we should go there instead? πŸ˜‰

  • You have really helped a lot of realtors and property owners alike by sharing in depth details of the right stuff to do.

  • There are some good blogs on here, a very good read.
If people want to improve this is a great site.
