I have to say I don’t know of many Realtors that are as passionate about doing quality real estate marketing still photography for his listings as Jeffrey Hogue in Berks county Pennsylvania. Long time PFRE readers know Jeffrey from my past coverage of his bucket truck that he uses for aerial photography without having to worry about the FAA.
This is Jeffrey’s latest listing. Jeffrey says he spent four days shooting this property! If you look at the interior photos you’ll notice that he is a flash lighting disciple of Scott Hargis. I asked Jeffrey what gear he uses. Jeffery says:
I use the following equipment: a Manfrotto 190CX Pro 3 carbon fiber tripod with Photo Clam ball head, Manfrotto 175F Justin Spring Clamp W/Flash Shoe, 3 Manfrotto 1004BAC-3 QSS Air Cushioned Light Stand 3-Pack – 12′, 5 Lumopro 160 flash heads, 5 pocket wizards, Canon TS-E 24mm f/3.5 L II Tilt-Shift Lens, Canon EF 17-40mm f/4 L USM Lens, Canon EF 24-105mm f/4 L IS USM Lens, Canon EF 14mm f/2.8 L II USM Lens, Vello wireless shutter release, my laptop for tethered shooting and trusty Canon 5D MkII.
After finding Scott’s book I was hooked. I put my HDR days behind me and made the investment in the kind of equipment needed to produce photos like Scott… With the base I have formed using Scott’s techniques I can now explore and create my own style.
Jeffrey’s work is impressive! As you can see from his website he, market’s all his listings with the same passion and high quality work.
