Announcing The PFRE Idol Best of 2008 Competition

On December 31 the voting for this months PFRE Idol will be complete and the seventh PFRE Idol winner will be announced.
During the first 7 days of 2009 voting will take place to choose which of those seven PFRE Idols will be the PFRE Idol of 2008. That’s right we’ll be voting for the Idol of 2008.
Yea, I know we should have a big, very special prize for the PFRE 2008 Idol but I’m very nervous about getting in trouble because we don’t conform to US, Canadian, European, United Kingdom and Australian contest law. Just conforming to US contest law is a challenge let alone multiple countries. This problem is why I haven’t recruited more sponsors and given away more and bigger PFRE Idol prizes. This is a worldwide community and I don’t want to exclude anyone, yet it’s effectively impossible to know how to follow worldwide rules. For example, the state of Rhode Island would have to be excluded if the prize was worth more than $500. Who knows what other laws like this there are around the world.
So the 2008 PFRE Idol will just have major bragging rights!
