Photomatix 3.1 and Lightroom Plugin Released
October 24th, 2008
Today the final version of Photomatix 3.1 and the companion Lightroom Plugin was released. The new features in 3.1 are:
- New settings for blending method ‘H&S – Adjust’
- Option for automatic reduction of chromatic aberrations in HDR images
- Option for reducing noise in HDR images
- Settings of Details Enhancer dialog grouped in expandable views
- Alignment method “By matching features” made more robust
- Lightroom Export Plug-In
The good news is that HDRsoft listened the feedback that PFRE and LightroomKillerTips readers gave them on the way the Lightroom plugin imports finished images back into Lightroom. The plugin release notes say, “The next version of the plugin will make it possible to automatically re-import directly into the Lightroom library (if you have Lightroom 2.0 or higher)“. Thanks for listening!
