CPGtours.com to Sponsor PFRE Idol Contest

Michael Cole of CPGtours.com yesterday agreed to sponsor the PFRE Idol Contest by providing each PFRE Idol with 5 free tours on CPGtours.com (a $100 value). Thanks Michael for your support!
Also, thanks to Michael Asgian for volunteering his time to create the pages/code that will allow us to make the contest contestants anonymous, allow more contestants and have registered voting.
We are now accepting submissions for the next PFRE Idol contest. If you’d like to be a contestant or just vote see the PFRE Idol FAQ, submission form and voter registration form. The contest is open for submissions until August 11 (one image per contestant). After that date the submitted images will be displayed on this discussion thread and voting will be open through August 31. Give us you best shot!

I also think winners should have their face added to the little banner you’ve made…that’s quite an honour!

Congrats to Tyra and Phillip! Is there a quick link to the winning photos? I’m not sure if I viewed the winning submissions or not. I don’t have time to go through all the messages about the contest but I registered to vote at the Homes I Shot(?) site and have bookmarked that page so that I may check back later and view and vote on the future submissions. Is that how it’s done? What’s the diff between PFRE of the month and PFRE Idols?

Linda- Yes, I’m planning to add PFRE Idol photos to the photo above. I started out with a random selection of familiar faces from the discussion group and as we pickup more idols I’ll add them.
Dave- Yea, you are right. I should come up with a more concise way of displaying all the winning photos. However, in future contests, there will only be one winning photo so it will be easier.
PFRE Photographer of the month is a discontinued thing where I would unilaterally choose a photographer each month to feature. The PFRE Idol contest has evolved out of suggestions I got from everyone to fix things that were wrong with the photographer of the month.
