Good Use of HDR

Sometimes HDR is the only way to get the shot outside. Photo by Maciek Duczynski. Here for more photos by Maciek Duczynski.
I find it interesting that you can spot a HDR image instantly… HDR processed images have a strange unearthly look that is unmistakable.

I’m interested in getting started using HDR. What is the HDR software of choice? I’ve heard it is included in the latest version of Photoshop CS3. I’ve also heard good things about a stand-alone program called EasyHDR. There is a blog for photos created using EasyHDR on Flickr. What does Maciek Duczynski use? Any suggestions?

Michael,
Photomatix is an excellent product for HDR. Does a far better job than Photoshop.
