Comments on: vflyer.com update… It won’t be Free Forever!

Thanks for posting the info about vFlyer. Pretty useful stuff - even if it’s not free.

I emailed a suggestion to the company that it would be nice to be able to start a project, then send a link and password to the homeowner/realtor so that they can complete filling it out, creating prints, etc…

I can’t remember if I registered with you as a photographer.. I had thought so, but I don’t see myself listed.

I am primarily a virtual tour provider but do provide photography services to clients, 12 stills for $50, if they don’t want to do their own.

They may continue to have some kind of free service. I’d be supprised if they didn’t continue to have some free service with reduced fucntionality.

I think it’s wild that after only three months of service vFlyer would shift to a pay service. You would think that they would stay free for a while so that it would become popular as each free flyer is seen by classified junkies everywhere prompting them to check out vflyer for themselves. Get them hooked, then offer a premium service to heavy users (a la skype).

Now that the vflyer honeymoon is over… There is also an older and similar service called that may stay free longer than vflyer. The layouts are not as beautiful and the expanding thumbnails are not there but it accomplishes basically the same thing.
